Vananchal Vikas Parishad, established in 2008 in Jharkhand, is a dedicated non-profit organization focused on empowering backward communities. The organization conducts vocational training programs to promote self-employment and offers low-interest loans to support business start-ups, aiming to reduce poverty. Additionally, it actively raises awareness about girl child mortality in schools and educational institutions to promote gender equality and child welfare. Vananchal Vikas Parishad works for and with children, without distinction of religion, caste, creed, gender or social status. Our goal is to empower children to make changes, to drive change in practice and policy at various levels, to prepare children and communities to respond to crises and adversity, and to support safe and successful growth of children into adulthood.

Book distribution
Vananchal Vikas Parishad (VVP) organized a book distribution program in the Ratu East Rural area, providing free study materials and book copies to support the education of 100 underprivileged and orphaned children. This initiative aims to encourage learning and reduce educational barriers for disadvantaged students, empowering them to pursue their academic goals and build a brighter future.
SHG activity
Vananchal Vikas Parishad (VVP) actively promotes Self-Help Group (SHG) activities, providing marginalized women with a platform to build solidarity and empowerment. SHGs enable women to collectively address critical issues related to health, nutrition, governance, and gender justice. VVP regularly conducts awareness meetings with women to educate them about the benefits of SHGs, encouraging them to take proactive steps towards improving their social and economic well-being.
Seminar
Vananchal Vikas Parishad (VVP), in collaboration with the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority, conducted a two-day training seminar to raise awareness about online legal services and their effective management. The session aimed to equip the staff with essential knowledge and skills to access and utilize digital legal resources, ensuring better support and legal assistance for the community.It is the small change that makes the biggest impact.
